Branding the pain of kidney stone disease

As in many conditions, once the acute pain of kidney stone disease is past, compliance with treatment declines. This attention-getting visual was at the center of Mission Pharmacal’s campaign for Urocit-K 15 mEq, a new kidney stone disease treatment that promises better compliance through more convenient dosing.

By reminding urologists of the pain that can happen with stone recurrence, this campaign broke through and helped Mission reclaim significant market share. An unbranded educational video and print program also supported the brand’s introduction.
